Susan Petty was born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina. She owned a residential real estate appraisal business in Columbia, SC from 1984 to 2005 when she moved to Bluffton, SC. Susan earned the SRA (Senior Residential Appraiser) Designation from the Appraisal Institute in 1990. Susan has been a South Carolina licensed real estate Broker since 1984 and member of the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors since 2006. Susan has been one of Weichert, Realtors - Coastal Properties top sales agents since she joined the company in 2006. As a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS®, she subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. Her honest, friendly downhome approach and Southern charm have been key ingredients to her success. Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry.
